Staff Nurse (Female) Delhi Job Description o Must be trained for NABH o Provide medications and injections as prescribed by the doctor and have proper record of it. o Administer IV fluids. o Monitor vital signs like BP, Temperature, and Pulse etc. and record it. o Refer any changes in patients status or untoward reaction to the doctor. o Monitor, analyze and record urine and stool output. o Collect specimens including sputum, stool, and urine and send it for medical analysis to laboratory. o Assist doctors during treatment. o Prepare the patient for investigation, if required. o Educate the patient and family about the disease and prognosis of the patient. o Take care of patient personal hygiene such as prevention of sores in private areas, sponging of patient, oral care, back care etc. o Take handover properly while change in duty including counting of materials, checking that materials are working properly and take minute details about the patients admitted in the ward. o Maintain the record registers or files as per asked by nursing superintendent.
