Intern – Intellectual Property(Chemical/Biology) Chandigarh, India The intern will be typically involved in understanding technical documents and publications while working in teams to help the client in finding similar documents or products. Position: Intern – Intellectual Property Experience: Fresher Educational Requirement: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech with specialization in Chemical, Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Pharmaceuticals and related branches or specializations Position type: Internship Internship Period: 6 Months Location: Chandigarh, India Compensation: Best in the industry Key Responsibilities: • Technical analysis of patent documents. • Making a good understanding of the technology disclosed within the document. • Searching for documents similar to the studied documents. • Searching for products that work in a manner similar to that disclosed in the patent document. • Working in close collaboration with experts on technology litigations to help them in preparing technical infringement/non-infringement theories. • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of patent portfolios from a technical and business perspective. • Technology evaluations. Desired Skills: • Good understanding of chemical compounds, chemical reactions, biological systems, drug delivery systems, biological processes, cells or cellular components, etc. • Strong technical understanding. • Passion for technology and keen interest in creative, non-obvious problem solving. • Good communication and presentation skills. • Good aptitude and written English. • Result oriented. • Ability to work independently and with teams.
