Understand and translate business requirements into design Create user interfaces for a variety of applications Create wireframes, site maps, process flows, and other design documentation Work with the developers and data architects to ensure feasibility of the design Provide insightful feedback and use your experience to improve the quality of the product and reduce the complexity of the user interface
Requirements
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Javascript and relative frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular JS, Jquery and others. Good practical knowledge in responsive design. Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS and LESS. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery. Knowledge in image authoring tools. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop or Gimp is a plus. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}. Familiarity with Package managers such as gulp/grunt is a plus. Good knowledge with browser testing and debugging.
