1. Need to keeps a full eye on the movement of the materials with a view to control the materials in the store.
2. Need to receive the material from the supplier. At the time of receipt of material, you should verify that the materials have been sent by the supplier on the basis of purchase order.
3. Materials received by suppliers must be arranged in a proper manner. Bins should be allotted to each and every item.
4. To ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials.
5. To maintain proper records.
6. To initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.
7. To issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material lists.
8. Counts, weighs, and measures goods received or issued.
9. Responsible for packing of material.
10. Need to keep record of all dispatches.
Required skills:
• Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
• Should have technical knowledge and experience in the maintenance of the store.
• Excellent command on MS-Office.
• Good Communication skills.
• Must have the ability to write mails to vendor.
