AirBoard is an up-and-coming aviation company based in Latvia. Our current product is the World's smallest manned aircraft - AirBoard. Job Summary Imagine what you could do here. At AirBoard, you will work for a 6 month internship in Latvia, the 2nd greenest country on the planet, which can turn into a full time paid job after the program. You will be asked to liaise with our team to build and prototype custom vehicles, and help with the empirical testing of full sized subsystems. To do this you will need to have experience with aluminium, plastics and carbon composites, so as to drill, cut and fabricate parts when needed. Key Qualifications • Excellent attention to detail •Previous experience of working in a similar technician role (or being able to demonstrate equivalent experience) • UAV/Drone flying experience — ability to fly quad/multicopters • Fabrication experience — ability to work with aluminium, stainless steel, plastics and carbon composites to make part models • Ability to solder and a basic understanding of electronics • An understanding of rotary wing/VTOL • Strong written and spoken English skills Welcome knowledge • Computer aided design (CAD) modelling (Autodesk Inventor preferred) • Mechanical (linear / non-linear) simulations • Computer fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations For more information, please send resume to (email hidden).
