We are recruiting a Business Development Manager to organise and manage all events from corporate and private events, exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and weddings. Responsibilities - Meeting with potential and existing clients to increase opportunities to increase market share and revenue within government and corporate organisations - Developing proposals, quotations and tenders for enquiries and negotiating terms to secure sales opportunities to meet targets - Working with the event management team to identify new opportunities to deliver innovative event management services - Participate in marketing activities to increase brand awareness and gain new clients - Attend trade and public events for networking and to secure new business opportunities to create a pipeline of sales opportunities Desired candidate profile: • Qualification: o Bachelor’s degree • Experience: 2 to 5 years in Business development • Financial management of budgets, sales forecasts and revenue • 5 years’ experience business development / sales and client servicing experience within the event management and MICE industry • Ability to develop effective presentations and proposals and be able to deliver these to decision makers Skills Expected • Effective networking abilities • Confident and outgoing personality • Commercially astute • Fluency in English is essential with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels • Excellent interpersonal and personal presentation skills General Details • Work Location: Chennai • Shift: General / Night Shift Flexible • CTC: Per annum 2,64,000 (As per industry standards & Experience) • Profit Sharing: 5 + PF + Bonus • Expectation: Progress expected on 2nd week onwards • Industry: Event Management / MICE Industry • Working: 6 Days working / Shift required. • Functional Area: Business Process Management, sales, retail • Role Category: Retail Sales • Role: Executive / Officer • Interested candidate should send across their resumes to (email hidden); (email hidden) • Freelancers Business Development manager for profit sharing model can post their resume to (email hidden).
