Dear Candidate,
We are looking for Senior Implementation Engineer who have exposure to Linux for one of reputed IT organisation located at Mumbai.
Designation: Senior Implementation Engineer
Job Location: Mumbai
Education Qualification: B.E. / B.TECH. / MCA / M Tech / M.E.
Experience required: 4-6 years’ experience
Package: as per industry standards
Eligibility Criteria:
In case of large projects, you may be posted at client location in a stretch within India / Outside India or abroad
At least 4-5 years of experience in technology implementation and management for contact centers / ISP / ITSP / SaaS / PaaS / IaaS organization preferably international operations.
Hands-on experience in implementation and management of Communications / Unified Messaging in an Enterprise or Data Center environment.
Exposure to Enterprise / TELCO applications management is essential.
Experience in Implementation, management & maintenance of VoIP solutions is essential.
Leadership and time management skills, high process orientation.
Excellent Customer Management Skills with project and team management skills.
Experience in Linux, Virtualization, DB clustering and Tomcat Web server deployment and best practices.
Technical awareness & working of Firewalls, Proxies / Reverse Proxies,
Technical awareness of the following protocols: SIP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, SNMP,SMTP, POP3, IMAP, FTP, SFTP, Strong understanding of networking technologies including TCP/IP, IPV6, DHCP, TFTP, VLAN, QoS, VoIP, various WAN technologies (Leased Line, MPLS, VPN etc)
Experience with MySQL– Query analysis & tuning and performance monitoring (indexing, partitioning), Clustering, Backup/Restore
Management of Cloud based infrastructure (AWS, Azure etc)
Understating & Management of Virtualization – VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM, QEMU etc
Knowledge of the software life-cycle process, Should be aware of release and change management process.
Should have good exposure on best practices for software incident support, SLA matrix setup.
Project Management skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high pressure environment and able to adjust to multiple demands.
Passionate and knowledgeable about new and emerging mobile and internet-based media and its technology.
Excellent oral and written communication skills – with both technical and non-technical individuals.
Demonstrated ability for being detail-oriented, self-motivated and driving follow-through on projects
Key Job Responsibilities
Our Client has customers in different locations across India, UK, Africa, Philippines, GCC and SE Asia.
Our Client support team is essentially involved in delivering P1 and P2 level support to customers, as well as delivering uptime for Our Client Cloud Services. Engineers may occasionally perform implementations in client premises.
Our Client Support team also has to develop implementation guidelines, change management / up gradation guidelines as well as trouble shoot content for Support partners as well as customers. They are also involved in the creation and administration of training content for Our Client Customers and Partners
Our Client Support team is keen to create new industry standards in software support and value creation for Our Client customers
To plan and execute / manage implementation of Our Client CLOUD Services and products within defined SLA for uptime and to conduct user training post implementation.
• Provide technical support to customers for Help Desk Tickets.
• Ensure compliance of internal and customer SLA for uptime and change management.
• Train customer technical teams for management of Our Client Systems at time of implementation and up gradation.
• Update and Deliver technical training for existing and new customers.
• Pro-actively co-ordinate with the development, QA teams and have an effective release process.(Cloud / SaaS / Services)
• Pro-active in up-dating clients and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Self-motivated, hard-working individuals with proven exceptional technical and achievements are sought.
• Monitor cloud instances, servers for performance and bottlenecks
