Sales Manager/Business Development Manager
Progressive Communications International is seeking a strategic sales manager to lead our commercial print sales function. The successful candidate will have strong capabilities in sales management/business development, market analysis and people leadership. The ideal candidate will come with a robust book of business/relationship equity, strong partnering ability to develop new business, and demonstrated success mentoring and leading a print sales force.
Sales Management
• Develop and communicate a clear vision and sales strategy for the sales organization in alignment with the goals of the overall business
• Sales process design focused on driving the sales team towards qualified targeted accounts and developing behaviors to pursue identified opportunities
• Implement sales productivity tools to facilitate the generation of new business through enhanced customer relationships and converting new prospects more effectively
• Facilitate and review monthly forecasts and opportunity pipeline
• Develop monthly & quarterly sales forecasts and annual sales plans
Sales and Business Development
• Independently develop a portfolio of business to accelerate the sales growth potential of the organization
• assist sales with lead generation and growing pipeline
• Target new client opportunities
Market Analysis, Planning and Projections
• Focus sales efforts on market niche’ and compatible niches to utilize plant capacity and capabilities
• Monitor and communicate competitors positioning
Develop strategy for market segment(s) growth and change.
