Reporting analyst/Assembler will handle report creation in Excel, PowerPoint, and core reporting tools like Micro Strategy, Micro Strategy skills are optional .good to have. This position offers a lucrative base salary, bonus plans, full benefits, and the opportunity for career growth.
General Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary interface to business users and management for Report and Dashboard solutions
• Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to understand business goals and objectives, as well as defining core reporting requirements.
• Provide user documentation for reports and dashboards being developed.
• Create data visualization mockup, report design, and data modeling.
• Create, modify, and run SQL scripts to pull data from source systems for analysis and report creation.
• Technically skilled Excel Data Analyst to provide data cleansing support and validation of data for use in presentations, metrics, and reporting of information.
• Develop specifications for automating manual reports and/or processes. Work with development team to validate and test automated reports.
• Extensive experience using data cleansing techniques, Excel pivot tables, formulas, and charts. Strong communication and customer service skills. Strong end-user computing skills (Excel, Power Point, Word).
• Write/maintain documentation describing changes/modifications to all processes and reports.
• Manage project delivery while ensuring highest quality design and delivery of projects with required scope.
• Research solutions to various business and technical problems.
• Data visualization mockup, report design, and data modeling.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
• 2+ years project management experience in a BI environment
• 2+ years creating and modifying reporting using SQL tools /Micro Strategy or BI Tools.
• 3+ years MS SQL Server and/or Oracle relational database
• 2+ years MS PowerPoint access
• Advanced Excel skills including macros and key reporting functions such as pivot tables, lookups, concatenations, conditional formatting, etc.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server) is a plus
• ‘3-6 months’ experience using with reporting tools such as Micro Strategy, Cognos, and Business Objects it’s optional.
• Advance hands on MS Excel : Objects, Functions ,Filters and Sorting , Conditional Formatting ,ARRAY formula , VLOOKUP , Parsing
• Familiarity with business intelligence and data warehousing practices and disciplines
• Strong analytical and writing skills verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and innovative while working in a collaborative team oriented environment
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and contribute as a team player
• Team leading experience will be added advantage.
