Job Description Department: Automotive Aftermarket Position: Regional Manager Sales Location: Bombay Area Cover: West Zone (Maharastra, GOA, M.P, Chattisgarh, Gujrat) Salary: 13-14lac Qualification:B.Tech/Diploma/BSC About Company: Auto Industry Manufacture Steering Parts Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Would have to set up the target for the entire zone based on the vehicular data available. Would be completely responsible for achievement of 100 volume and Cash profit targets of the zone. Would have to monitor visits of the area managers’ to the retail market and mechanics to build awareness on company’s product range and guide according to the market situation. Would ensure zonal activity calendar for all demand generation and promotional activities e.g Retailers’ Meet, Mechanics Meet, Spot Campaigns, Van Campaigns , Road Shows, Exhibition etc with inputs from individual area managers and the zonal service engineer. Would have to analyse the market situation and coordinate with the HO marketing team to introduce effective schemes for higher, incremental sales. Ensure target achievement of all stockists/distributors monthly, quarterly and yearly through regular performance reviews of individual areas under him. Would have to ensure that the credit policies of the company are adhered to by the stockists and maintain zero overdue/ bad debt throughout. Ensure all C forms from the stockists of the zone are collected on time. Would be responsible for providing sales projections of individual parts nos in his zone in order to release schedule to the plants every month. Ensure maximum fill rate with proper coordination with plants through HO. Would have to keep the trade informed on the existing / change of policies of the company from time to time. Would have to visit the retail market regularly along with the area manager or HO team to understand specific requirements of the market and take appropriate actions. Would have to send detailed consolidated weekly report and daily reports to HO after compiling from all area managers and adding comments /guidelines for improvement.
