Server Network Administrator
Server or systems administrators maintain the computer networking system in an office environment by tracking server activity, performing upgrades of software, maintaining computer hardware, addressing questions about technical problems, and improving efficiency by evaluating system network functions. Most work is completed during regular business hours. Occasionally, with new system upgrades or server fixes, work must be completed during required time. This is when traffic to a Website or office activity will be at its lowest and thus have less of an impact on business.
Job Description:
Network Administrators responsible for design, install, and support an organization’s computer systems.
They are responsible for local-area networks (LAN), wide-area networks (WAN), network segments, and Internet and intranet systems.
Analyze problems, and monitor networks to ensure their availability to system users.
Responsible for gather data to identify customer needs and then use the information to identify, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements.
Network Administrators also may plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
Responsible for managing Firewall UTM management .(configure & Manage)
Responsible for configure & manage LINUX Based Servers.(such as Fedora, Rad Hat, Open sues, & Ubantu.
Install Configure & Manage Quick-Heal Firewall UTM., Install Configure & Manage servers Squid Proxy Server, Samba Server, VNC server, Telnet Server, Apache Server, FTP Server, & DHCP Server. Install, Configure & Manage SVN Repos Server, Bugzilla Server. Manage E-PBX phone setup.
Responsible Backup and disaster recovery for server and client. Managing secured VPN for communication, virtual LAN, Voice Communication, Data transfer. & able to Configure Environment for different projects as like BPM Savvion Project. Able to Configure policies for web filter e.g. sites download, load balance failover.
Network Administrators are responsible for maintaining network efficiency. They ensure that the design of an organization’s computer system allows all of the components - including computers, the network, and software - to work properly together. Furthermore, they monitor and adjust the performance of existing networks and continually survey the current computer site to determine future network needs.
Network Administrators also troubleshoot problems reported by users and by automated network monitoring systems and make recommendations for future system upgrades.
Educational Qualification :
Minimum 1 Year Experience Required .
Graduation shd be B.Tech / BCA .
