Job Description Experience: 0 to 1 year A graphic designer's job may involve managing more than one design brief at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job. Typical activities include: Meeting the concerned person to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job. Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research. Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts. Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients. Stay current on design and fashion trends. Create marketing and advertising pieces that meet company objectives and keep within brand standards. Prepare all artwork for printing and production. Keep accurate records and paperwork. Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches. Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Associate Degree in Graphic / Web Design or equivalent certification. Competent working with following software : Ø Adobe PhotoshopØ Adobe IllustratorØ Adobe In DesignØ Adobe Dream Weaver Understanding of basic design principles. Knowledge of Print/Web art requirements. Excellent creative flair and design. Accuracy and attention to detail understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
