Ability to understand scope of Functional Consultant. Should ensure optimum mapping of Business Requirements to Software for satisfying needs of Business Users. Ability to Guide/Develop Business Specification Document in collaboration with the business teams for their respective Business IT requirements. Ability to Design/Develop Functional Scope Document based on Business Specification Document to address users business IT requirements. Assist and Support the Development team during the entire development phase. Help identify business problems in conjunction with the business teams and identify appropriate business problem solutions. Leads in providing technical direction for planning, designing and execution of testing efforts Oversee the implementation of new systems and subsequent modifications. Interfaces with the industry to keep abreast of latest technologies Research best practices, identify Software products / tools and understands business strategies/directions of Logistics Domain for the development of business solutions that meet the current and future needs. Design and delivers/ or arrange to deliver end user training and training materials. Creates a training module for appropriate use of Software to train new users on features and controls. Interface with clients and gain understanding of requirements/processes through meetings and discussions. Provide overall business process and product mapping. Execute functional tests and evaluate results to ensure accuracy and quality of complex system changes. Provide Key User Training and support customer to ensure sign off at each milestone as per project plan. Should be able to share best business practices in Logistics domain. Aware of the Conceptual or Working Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Tomcat, RDBMS-Oracle/SQL Server OS-Server 2008/2012, Browsers-Chrome, IE, Software’s Like Accounting, Purchase Order System, Sales Order System, CRM etc. is added advantage. Requirement: 1 to 3 years’ experience in an Functional Consultant/Analyst role. Knowledge of various documentation aspects of Logistics Industry mainly in the areas of Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Project-Cargo, Warehousing etc. Like Import/Export Shipment (Air/Sea), Shipment Advice, Pre-Alerts, Cargo Arrival Note (CAN), Delivery Order (DO), Bill of Lading (BL), Air Way Bill (AWB), Type of Containers, Bill of Entry (BE), Shipping Bill (SB) etc. Preferable, should be aware of Functions / Roles of Various Stakeholders in Logistics Industry like Shipping Line, Air Line, Container Freight Station (CFS), Customs House Agent (CHA), Transporters, Non-Vessel Owning Common Carrier (NOVCC) etc. Excellent project planning, change and time management capabilities. Very hands-on and keen eye for detail with ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats Positive, pro-active attitude with a will to deliver quickly, adhering to tight deadlines and excellent analytical skills to analyze and fix problems quickly MBA from a reputed Instititute. Technical background preferred not necessary. Strong communication and inter-personal skills; ability to work across teams with geographically remote team members Motivated self-­‐starter with the ability to learn and adapt Must have strong writing skills. Writing sample will be required Exhibit positive approach in a fast changing environment Strong presentation skills that can keep large audiences engaged Should have a good grasp of software analytics and which metrics matter for the business Excellent teamwork skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. Must be able to travel 20 of the time. Location: Mumbai would be location atleast for 2 years. However, there would be travelling across India for coordination related work. Salary: Salary will not be any issue for the right candidate.
