RKMG - Mumbai, Maharashtra Data Analytics and Modeling in an upstream Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) operations environment The job involves building a performance management data model based on possible sources of human error (HE), conducting Data Analytics to identify human error and possible causes for Operators in an upstream SAGD process. This will include the following: • Suggest possible failure modes and causes for human error in an upstream Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) process • Build a data model/database for collecting data from different existing and possible data sources – would be responsible for identifying and analyzing relevant external databases • Build a database as an SME for the possible failure modes/ causes/effect and remedy • Build an index and unique code of possible Human Error Taxonomy and generate algorithm between failure modes and HE code in Operations • Build a model database architecture that will integrate with the different Operation databases for automatically collecting data from the various existing and suggested data sources • Analyze the available data points – post assessment scores, lost production data, loss due to human error etc. and suggest building up required data points • Conduct FMEA of possible human error • Develop a predictive analytical model as a subset to the data model that will generate performance based training/skill interventions • Conduct Root cause analysis to map with training required • Validate the need for re-certification and help plan a training calendar • Create a data model that will automatically track human error down to the root causes, the individual responsible, the training received by the individual, and the trainer involved, competency scores and qualifications • Interact and coordinate with the client project team and understand the dynamics of the client organization to ensure smooth execution of project • Create all necessary documentation and status updates as required by the project • Conversant with standards and process handbooks and be able to read process and equipment drawings (including assembly, disassembly and isometric) Exposure to all or most of the following environments: PI - Data Link · Tableau · JDE · LPA (Production loss allocations) · ProcessNet · PHD/SCADA · IMS · TAP.root · ParcView · AFM · PSS · POMS · Uniformance Excel Add-On · PVR Data Wizard · Vantagepoint · CL Custom Reporting · DCS Graphics · Maximo · Traccess (LMS) · BX Advisor Assets (Lean Six Sigma) · MS SQL Server ditThe job will require providing SME support for the training design and development team so that they can interpret the subject matter and create meaningful training. This role will include the following: • Sharing best practices from the industry • Doing research on examples of current training in the industry • Taking part in brainstorming sessions with the design and development teams • Reviewing and validating the training design approaches developed Desired qualifications and experience: The qualifications/skills/experience required (need a mix of all skills, but the first two – oil and gas, SAGD preferred and upstream is a must), data analytics and database creation and interactions are a must. 1. Power Engineer/Mechanical Engineer with IT knowledge 2. At least 10 year’s plant experience in Oil and Gas industry, Operations Department, database design and experience in data analytics for Oil and Gas SAGD experience is preferable 4. Ability to analyze Process Flow Diagrams and Instrumentation Diagrams to understand a process within the SAGD system 5. Knowledge of Data Analytics, Databases and Data modeling, SQL Server Database, Excel based modeling, SharePoint 6. Understanding of learning solutions, learning design and mapping learning needs to the right learning solutions 7. Coordination and project management skills 8. Cultural sensitivity to work in a different country 9. Valid Passport not expiring in the next three years Preferable having some international experience.
