Assistant General Manager (Sales)
Our client, a large Maruti Dealer based in Bangalore having Annual Turnover of More than 600 Crores, with 15 Showrooms, 11 Service Centers, 2 Preowned Car sales outlets, 8 Driving Schools, is looking for the right candidate for the position of AGM – Sales. Our client started dealership operations in Bangalore in the year 2002 and is a winner of Platinum Award from Maruti-Suzuki. Client has a strong work force of trained 1200+ employees.

Location: Bangalore (Whitefield Road, Old Airport Road, Banashankari, Varthur)
Reporting To: CGM - Sales
Responsibilities
- Assisting CGM – Sales for preparing the annual business plan across profitability, productivity, customer acquisition, retention and contribution for new car vehicle sales and allied businesses like finance, insurance, accessories etc.
- AGM-Sales will be responsible for execution of business plan and driving sales strategy, revenue & profitability of the location
- Will work as a team with Sales Managers, Team Leaders, Sales executive & Support staff for achieving revenue and profitability targets
- Will be responsible for manpower wise target setting, designing incentive structure as well as employee life cycle (Hiring, Training, Mentoring, Appraisal and Relieving)
- Responsible for timely and effective communication and coordination with Maruti Suzuki team and enjoy their trust and confidence
- Ensuring customer delight through benchmark experience of customers across entire sales process and prompt customer complaint resolution
- Mentoring the team and empowering them with requisite tools & timely training to drive sales, customer delight & profitability
- Analysing latest market trends & competition strategy and providing critical inputs to management to aid decision making to expand market share as well as ensuring profitability
- Establishing credit controls to ensure timely collection of receivables from all the stakeholders
Requisites
- The candidate should be in the age group of 30 to 40 with 5 to 10 years of experience preferably in retail industry
- Should have experience in leading teams with a high level of written and oral communication & presentation skills with a strong focus on sales and profitability
- Engineer with MBA will be preferred
Compensation
- CTC will have both fixed and variable components. Fixed component will be ranging from 4.5 – 5.5 lacs per annum with performance linked variable component in the range of 50 - 100
- Compensation will not be a limiting factor for deserving candidates
