Required Skills:
Experience in working as Technical SME with deep understanding of mainframe application architecture and addressing Re-hosting challenges and issues with necessary solutions.
Minimum 3+ years of hands on Application Rehosting/migration Experience from Mainframe to LINUX/UNIX platforms using rehosting tool Tuxedo ART 12.1.3
Strong exposure to various Mainframe technologies and programming languages Cobol, JCL, CICS, IMS DC, IMS DB, DB2, VSAM, Schedulers
Exposure to other Databases like Oracle and SQL Server.
Exposure to working with various teams comprising of Architects and other SMEs to study the existing system architecture, identify core Technical challenges, come-up with necessary solutions and Migration strategies.
Worked with data migration team to define the file migration & conversion strategies.
Worked with Business Analysts and QA team to identify Testing Strategies and Test Plans.
Identifying solutions/fixes for migration issues.
