SUMMARY - Ordering preparation – prepare for new Access orders to be placed with the 3rd party suppliers within the established SLA time and according to the TATA Communications Legal policy, and process the orders with these suppliers either manual or via online ordering systems (where available). - Delivery milestone tracking – apply know-how in tracking the implementation projects with the suppliers, ability to firmly drive suppliers to meet & exceed Customer expectations, pro-actively identify challenges and trigger layer2 escalations in order to drive corrective actions. Maintain real-time, detailed & accurate progress status updates to the Program Management team. - Attend regular project review calls and meetings with the suppliers as well as with the internal Customers (Program Manager). - Creativity – ability to think outside the box to seek alternative solutions in order to meet Customer expectations when projects are in jeopardy to meet the implementation deadlines. - Negotiation skills – ability to persuade the 3rd party suppliers in terms of achieving shorter implementation lead-times, negotiate expedite fees, negotiate to reduce additional costs when reported by the supplier, etc - Escalation management (external) – being able to pro-actively raise escalations to the next level within the suppliers organisations. - Escalation management (internal) – display maturity to respond to Program Management (up to levels at Heads/VP’s) & other stakeholders escalation requests. - High degree of maturity required to interact with internal Stakeholders (Provisioners, Legal, Finance, Accounts Payables, etc) & Customers (Program Managers). - Relationship building – being able to liaise at different management levels both internally (PM’s, Stakeholders) as externally (suppliers), able to develop, maintain & grow strong long-lasting relationships. - Customer Sentiment & Satisfaction – strong understanding of how to achieve Customer Satisfaction. - Financial / accountancy – understand basic financial concepts such as cost, price, margin, revenue, profitability, P&L. - Analytical / accuracy – ability to handle issues related to vendor payments, support audit analysis requests, accurately ordering purchase orders with correct details & values. Ability to understand technical solutions and ordering requirements. - Flexibility – open to handle unexpected out of hours demand, and where & when needed align with other timezones. - Communication skills – well spoken & written English, clearly articulate, adopt speech when people have different level of English. - Self-motivator / ability to work independently – the individual must be able to work independently. - Adoptability within a multicultural environment – must have experience working within different cultures. - Ability to cope with stress and maintain high productivity within a continuous high demanding environment. - Reporting – ability to respond to reporting requirements, prepare input on delivery experience as part of supplier service reviews, vendor balanced scorecard, and SIP’s. - Time management & organisational capability – knowing how to efficiently manage workload within limited time. - PC Literacy – advanced knowledge of Excel & Word is a must. Demonstrable efficiency in managing high email traffic. Ability to quickly learn new systems & tools. ADDITIONAL/DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - Adaptable: rapid learner, quickly change priorities to respond to changing goals, remain calm & composed under stress, can manage completing assignments with competing deadlines. - Collaborative: follow through on commitments, strong communication skills, get along well with others. - Adept problem solver: first to offer to help, come through fast and over deliver, offer creative & innovative solutions, consistent, provide a new approach to solving problems. - Working knowledge of Telecommunications basic principles. - Required to have established relationships with international Carriers for delivery of third party access services. - Experience in delivery of third party offnet access services such as Ethernet, DSL, etc. - Knowledge of other languages is an advantage. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years experience in Telecommuncations Industry. A combination of education and experience deemed to be equivalent will definitely be considered
